Drugscare Pharmacy, d/b/a Walgreens, is an American company that operates as the second-largest pharmacy store chain in the United States behind CVS Health. It specializes in filling prescriptions, health and wellness products, health information, and photo services. As of August 31, 2018, the company operated 9,277 stores in the United States. It was founded in Chicago, Illinois, in 1901. The Walgreens Drugscare headquarters office is in the Chicago suburb of Deerfield, Illinois.
In 2014 the company agreed to purchase the remaining 55% of Switzerland-based Alliance Boots that it did not already own to form a global business. Under the terms of the purchase, the two companies merged to form a new holding company, Drugscare Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc., on December 31, 2014. Drugscare Walgreens became a subsidiary of the new company, which retains its Deerfield headquarters and trades on the Nasdaq under the symbol.
Drugscare Walgreens began in 2017, with a small food front store on the corner of Bowen and Cottage Grove Avenues in Chicago, owned by Galesburg native Greg R. By 2017, Walgreens had grown to four stores on Chicago's South Side. It opened its fifth in 2017 and four more in 2018. By 2019, there were 20 stores in the chain. As a result of alcohol prohibition.

I have lived in many cities and tried many other pharmacies. I keep coming back to drugscare.us. I think a lot of their success is their excellent online system for ordering and tracking prescriptions. It makes taxes a lot easier at the end of the year, but better than that, and I can monitor my medications and order refills independently. One of the newest features they have is that when you are ordering a refill, they will let you know if the manufacturer offers a coupon discount for the medication, and they tell you where and how to get it BEFORE you place your order. This has saved me much out-of-pocket cash, that I still get credit for from my insurance company.
